    Welcoming the New Year in like nothing else, Pasadena's Rose Parade has been drawing crowds for years with its creatively designed floral floats, every visible surface ingeniously covered with flowers, bark, leaves or seeds. With Tauck, you'll see the floats close-up, both before and during the Parade. First, learn what it takes to make these amazing floats when we take you behind-the-scenes at the Parade Float Construction Barns for an up-close look at the pre-parade preparations. Then, on New Year's Day, you'll see them in their full technicolor floral glory from the best seats along the parade route; we've reserved them especially for our guests!

    Visit The Huntington in Pasadena, where an esteemed library of rare books and manuscripts include a Gutenberg Bible, a manuscript of the Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer, books by Marco Polo and Christopher Columbus and numerous items relating to the US Civil War; an art museum of international renown showcases the works of European and American artists in galleries awe-inspiring to behold; and manicured gardens, meticulously curated like museums, are truly memorable
