        One of the oldest and most distinguished Bohemian noble families, the Lobkowicz family has played a pivotal role in the history of Central Europe for more than six centuries. After the tumult of the 20th century and the establishment of the Czech Republic, the family recovered formerly confiscated properties including Lobkowicz Palace at Prague Castle. Opened to the public in 2007 as the Lobkowicz Palace Museum, its collections feature world-famous paintings, ceramics spanning five centuries, and much more. Favorite highlights include hand-annotated manuscripts by composers including Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart.
