THE MIDDLE EAST

(March 12, 2026) Recent media reports have highlighted flight disruptions and U.S. Department of State travel advisories in parts of the Middle East following the conflict involving Iran. These developments have caused some airline schedule adjustments across the region, which may affect certain flight routings. Impacted guests and travel advisors are being contacted directly on a rolling basis; we sincerely appreciate your patience as we work through these notifications.

  • Jordan & Egypt: Petra to the Pyramids - Due to flight disruptions affecting air service into Amman, Tauck cancelled all March departures of both the Classic and Small Groups departures. We are continuing to monitor airline operations closely and, at this time, our April departures are expected to operate as planned. Our Global Response Team will continue to monitor developments closely and will provide updates should circumstances change.
  • Egypt: Jewels of the Nile - Due to earlier airline disruptions and the U.S. Department of State advisory, Tauck cancelled departures of this itinerary through March 15, 2026. At this time, later spring departures are expected to operate as planned. Tourism activities across Egypt continue to operate, with hotels and major sites open and welcoming visitors. Airlines across the region continue to make occasional schedule adjustments, and for guests with Tauck air reservations, our team is actively assisting with any necessary changes.
  • Israel & Jordan - This itinerary is not currently scheduled to operate again until fall 2026. Our ability and intent to operate those journeys will depend on developments in the region.

As always, Tauck's Global Response Team continues to actively monitor world events on an on-going basis, consulting with our vast network of outside agencies, supplier partners, and other industry contacts to stay abreast of circumstances in all areas where we operate. The health and wellbeing of our guests, employees, and partners are our highest priorities.
